Yeliw Privacy Policy
Yeliw ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy and security of your information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, disclose, and protect the information you provide when using our Yeliw app (the "App")—an interactive photo album platform designed for pet lovers. By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

- Pet-Related Content: The core information we collect is the pet photos you upload to the App. This includes photos of your cats, dogs, or other pets, which are essential for the App’s AI recognition, content generation, and photo organization features.
- Custom Content: Any text you add to the App, such as custom captions for speech bubbles, meme text, or notes about your pet (e.g., your pet’s name or breed).
- Contact Information: If you reach out to our customer support team (via the contact details provided in Section 7), we collect information like your name and email address to respond to your inquiries.
1.2 Automatically Collected Information
When you use the App, we may automatically collect certain technical and usage-related information to optimize performance and user experience. This includes:
- Device Information: Details about the device you use to access the App, such as your device model, operating system (e.g., iOS, Android), unique device identifier (UDID), and mobile network provider.
- Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the App, including features you use (e.g., AI breed recognition, meme creation), frequency of use, time spent on the App, and the pages or screens you visit.
- AI Processing Data: Anonymous data related to the App’s AI functions, such as the accuracy of breed or expression recognition (without linking this data to your personal information or specific pet photos). This data is used solely to improve the AI’s performance.
- Location Information (Optional): If you enable location services for the App (e.g., to tag photos with your pet’s location), we may collect your approximate location. You can disable this feature at any time through your device settings.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for specific, legitimate purposes that align with the App’s functionality and your experience. These purposes include:
- Provide and Maintain the App’s Services:
- Process your uploaded pet photos to deliver AI-powered features (e.g., breed identification, expression/action detection).
- Generate derivative content (speech bubbles, anthropomorphic comics, memes) based on your photos and custom input.
- Organize your pet photos by expressions and actions to help you easily find and manage your content.
- Store your photos and custom content securely so you can access them across devices (if you have a registered account).
- Improve the App:
- Analyze usage data and anonymous AI processing data to enhance the App’s performance, fix bugs, and add new features that align with user needs (e.g., expanding breed recognition capabilities).
- Gather feedback (if you choose to provide it) to refine the user interface and overall experience.
- Personalize Your Experience:
- Remember your preferences (e.g., favorite meme templates, sorting filters) to tailor the App to your usage habits.
- Recommend relevant features or content based on how you use the App (e.g., suggesting meme templates if you frequently create memes).
- Ensure Security and Compliance:
- Protect your account from unauthorized access by verifying your identity (e.g., password encryption, account recovery processes).
- Monitor for and prevent fraudulent, illegal, or abusive activity on the App (e.g., uploading non-pet-related content that violates our User Agreement).

- Respond to your customer support inquiries, feedback, or requests.
- Send promotional communications (e.g., notifications about new features or special offers) only if you have opted in to receive them. You can unsubscribe from these communications at any time.

- With Your Consent: We will share your information with third parties only if you explicitly give us permission to do so. For example, if you choose to share a meme or pet photo on social media (e.g., Facebook, Instagram), we will share that content with the selected platform as directed by you.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, regulation, or legal process (e.g., a subpoena, court order, or government request). We will only disclose the minimum amount of information necessary to comply with such requirements.
- Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or other business transaction involving Yeliw, your information may be transferred to the new owner or entity. We will notify you of any such transfer and ensure that the new entity adheres to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
- Protection of Rights: We may share your information to protect the rights, safety, or property of Yeliw, our users, or third parties. This includes investigating and addressing violations of our User Agreement or preventing harm (e.g., removing harmful content or addressing unauthorized account access).
4. How We Protect Your Information
We take the security of your information seriously and implement reasonable technical, administrative, and physical measures to protect it from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include:
- Encryption: Your account password is stored using strong encryption (e.g., bcrypt), and your pet photos and content are transmitted over secure, encrypted connections (HTTPS) when sent to or from the App.
- Access Controls: Only authorized Yeliw employees and service providers have access to your information, and they are required to follow strict security protocols and confidentiality obligations.
- Data Storage Security: We use reputable cloud storage providers that comply with industry standards for data security (e.g., ISO 27001 certification) and regularly update their security measures.
- Regular Audits and Updates: We conduct regular security audits of our systems and processes to identify and address potential vulnerabilities. We also update the App and our security practices to keep up with emerging threats and industry best practices.
- User Controls: You can enhance the security of your account by choosing a strong password and enabling two-factor authentication (if available). You can also delete your account or specific content at any time (see Section 5).
While we strive to protect your information, no security system is completely impenetrable. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you acknowledge that there is a risk of unauthorized access to your information despite our efforts. If a data breach occurs, we will notify you and relevant authorities as required by law and take steps to mitigate the impact.
5. Your Rights Regarding Your Information
You have certain rights regarding the information we collect about you, and we make it easy for you to exercise these rights through the App or by contacting our customer support. Your rights include:
- Access Your Information: You can view your account information, uploaded pet photos, and custom content at any time by logging into your Yeliw account and navigating to the "My Content" or "Account Settings" section.
- Correct Inaccurate Information: If your account information (e.g., email address, username) is inaccurate, you can update it through the App’s "Account Settings" page. If you need to correct other information, contact our customer support (see Section 7).
- Delete Your Information:
- You can delete individual pet photos, derivative content (e.g., memes, comics), or custom text directly within the App.
- To delete your entire Yeliw account (and all associated information, including photos and content), go to "Account Settings" > "Delete Account" and follow the prompts. Once your account is deleted, your information will be permanently removed from our systems (except for data we are required to retain by law, such as for tax or legal compliance).
- Opt Out of Promotional Communications: If you no longer want to receive promotional emails or in-App notifications from us, you can unsubscribe by clicking the "Unsubscribe" link in promotional emails or disabling notifications in the App’s settings.
- Withdraw Consent: If you previously gave consent for a specific use of your information (e.g., location tracking), you can withdraw that consent at any time (e.g., by disabling location services on your device). Note that withdrawing consent may limit your ability to use certain features of the App.
- Request Data Portability: If you would like to receive a copy of your information (e.g., your uploaded photos) in a structured, machine-readable format, you can submit a request to our customer support. We will provide this data to you within a reasonable timeframe, subject to applicable laws.

6. Children’s Privacy
The Yeliw App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without the consent of a parent or legal guardian, we will immediately delete that information from our systems. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided information to us, please contact us (see Section 7) to request deletion.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or the App’s features. When we make changes, we will revise the "Effective Date" at the top of this policy and notify you through one or more of the following methods:

- A notice on the App’s official website (if available).
We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how we protect your information. Your continued use of the App after the effective date of the revised policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to the updated policy, you should stop using the App and delete your account (see Section 5).
9. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the United States of America, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising out of or related to this Privacy Policy shall be resolved in accordance with the dispute resolution provisions of our User Agreement.
